The app stores all flashcard data locally on your device and does not require an internet connection to deliver notifications or maintain your learning progress.

Safety in AI flashcard generation

The app includes the optional ability to generate new flashcards using AI, based on a prompt provided by you. There is no facility for sharing AI-generated flashcards between users. The AI model used to generate flashcards is from Anthropic, which means that your flashcard generation prompts are sent to Anthropic. The API call made by our fulfilment service enforces format and content restrictions on the LLM's outputs. Input prompts are limited to a maximum size, and a rate limit applies to every user.
